  Force quit, after app insisted I could only continue using if I agreed to third party tracking by advertisers. This was one of my favorite apps for years. Suddenly today, the app insisted I agree to a new set of user agreements, for letting my personal info be shared with a bunch of advertising companies for marketing purposes. Only option was either agree, or pay $9.99 to remove ads. Clearly, their data privacy claim of "no data shared with third parties" is a lie. Uninstalled, with regret.

  Literally just a compass. No ads, works as intended and a little more. Elevation, sunset and sunrise times are very convenient. I personally prefer no ads, but purchases on skins or items. I wish more companies do this sort of profiting, rather than ads slowing down the app and ruining the experience. Awesome app!

  It was a good app about 6 months ago. Now? It's jammed up with advertising. It's a very invasive app. If I open a compass app it's for a rather serious reason & I don't want to watch a curtain ad. No I will not pay because.... There's better **free compass apps than this. Shame on you greedy snooping Developers.

  Perfect! I had been noticing my compass was off; saying N was S and vice versa.. I had completely forgotten about my magnet phone holder on the back of my phone case!

  The app itself seems to work fine. There is an issue however. I use a rooted task manager. I find it rather odd that even though I hardly ever use this app occasionally it is just randomly running in the background. Since it has location permissions, I find this rather disturbing and it has caused me to uninstall it. Why does it need to randomly run in the background? You draw your own conclusions.
